The Yangon School of Social Work (YSSW) is honored to announce that Dr. Si Thura will be the Keynote Speaker for our upcoming Online Diploma in Social Work (ODSW) Batch II Graduation Ceremony (2026).
Dr. Si Thura is the Chief Executive Officer of Community Partners International (CPI), where he has led efforts to strengthen health systems and expand community-based networks across Myanmar, Thailand, and Bangladesh.
After graduating from medical school in Yangon in 2008, he joined the Cyclone Nargis relief and recovery efforts. That experience shaped his long-term commitment to strengthening local organizations and building sustainable community systems to respond to health and social challenges.
YSSW deeply values CPI’s continued support for strengthening social work education and developing the social work profession in Myanmar. We are therefore especially honored to welcome Dr. Si Thura to inspire our graduating class.
We look forward to hearing his reflections on leadership, resilience, and the vital role of social work in responding to the needs of communities in today’s context.

Yangon School of Social Work (YSSW) ၏ Online Diploma in Social Work (ODSW) Batch II Graduation Ceremony 2026 တွင် ဒေါက်တာ စည်သူရ မှ Keynote Speaker အဖြစ် ပါဝင်မည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ဂုဏ်ယူဝမ်းမြောက်စွာ ကြေညာအပ်ပါသည်။
ဒေါက်တာ စည်သူရသည် Community Partners International (CPI) ၏ Chief Executive Officer ဖြစ်ပြီး မြန်မာ၊ ထိုင်းနှင့် ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ်နိုင်ငံများတွင် လူထုကျန်းမာရေးစနစ်များနှင့် community-based support networks များ အားကောင်းလာစေရန် ဦးဆောင်လုပ်ဆောင်လျက်ရှိပါသည်။
